Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated October 6, 1950 partially reads "Jack Ridgley (Proprietor of the Halo). Jack is twenty-nine years old and unmarried. He came to California in 1926 and is a graduate of Los Angeles High. Family now lives in Burbank. A World War II veteran, he was a general contractor for four years in the Valley before he obtained the Halo." The Halo, a restaurant and cocktail lounge, is located at 3116 West Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank.
