This circa 2000 postcard the hub of Sacramento's governmental district, as viewed looking west. In the foreground are the California State Capitol building and Capitol Park. The grass medians moving vertically to the top of the frame are a feature of Capitol Mall, which terminates at the city's Tower Bridge which, built in 1935, crosses the Sacramento River.
