Plates in: Album of photographs, pg. 33.
Shows two-story shingled house, Man, woman and young boy in front. Dirt roads in front and to right side, railroad tracks visible in front. Sign on house partially visible reads "Dr. Strad".

John Baldwin arrived in California by 1874. Was active as a photographer in several cities, including Sacramento. In Sacramento operated out of a gallery on J Street in the 1880's.
Possibly the house of Dr. Harvey W. Strader, physician and surgeon in Sacramento. Arrived in Sacramento in 1892. Had residence in early 1900's at 2200 J St.
