Robert Graham (1938-2008) was a sculptor whose monumental bronzes commemorate the human figure and are featured in public places across America. Graham's first major monumental commission was the ceremonial gateway for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, for the occasion of the 1984 Olympics. He was married to actress Anjelica Huston.; Alex Padilla was elected as the Democratic nominee for the State Senate for the 20th district of California in June 2006. He is a councilman for the 7th district of the Los Angeles City Council and served as Council President from July 2001 through December 31, 2005.
