Description
Photograph caption dated September 13, 1957 reads, "Two of the not-too-numerous returning lettermen who will bulwark the Valley College Monarchs in football this season are tackle Howard Poyer, upper left, and John Miscione, fullback. Poyner [sic] [pictured], co-captain, is shown charging the camera and his coach Al Hunt believes he has all-league possibilities. Miscione, who will do all the punting, is shown getting a kick away."
