Description
With his widow, Rachel Robinson, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, Jackie Robinson Stadium became a reality yesterday for coach Gary Adams and the UCLA Bruins. City and university officials, along with a host of celebrities and former Robinson teammates turned out for dedication ceremonies preceding an exhibition game between UCLA and the Dodgers. In the five-inning game, UCLA continued to be good hosts by letting the Dodgers outscore them 12-1. Photo dated: February 8, 1981.
