Description: Hand-tinted photograph of Pereira Dairy, circa 1924. The dairy was located at the corner of King and Story Roads, with Pruesch Ranch nearby. Individuals in the photograph are from left to right: Unknown, Mary Pereira, Louise Pereira, Maria Pereira, Teresa Pereira, Frank Pereira, Unknown man holding children, Joe Pereira, Angela Pereira, Jose Francisco Pereira, Unknown. Mary Pereira worked as a housekeeper for Emma Preusch between 1928-1930 (approximate). Mary married Joe A. Machado on December 7, 1934, and helped to run the Machado Dairy on Walker Avenue from 1934 to 1954.
