Photograph caption dated July 23, 1963 reads "North Hollywood businessman Romaine Fielding had this sign made up the other day and he's going to tote it to Russia. The 90-foot-long neon-tubed masterpiece will be strung up atop one of Fielding's laundromats being installed in Moscow. Fielding is the first U.S. businessman to sell and install do-it-yourself laundromats in Russia. The sign was built at GM Neon Co., 267 W. Spazier Ave., Burbank."
