Photograph of La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, showing many shops and automobiles, [s.d.]. La Brea runs across the image from left to right and is intersected by another unpaved road at left. One- and two-story buildings line the other road on both sides, and utility poles run parallel to the streets. Early automobiles can be seen on parked along the sidewalks. Several pedestrians can also be seen on the sidewalks. The street is muddy and marked by tire tracks at right.
