Scope/Content: Letter from Eric Berne to the Education Committee of the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute, November 1, 1956, in response to the Committee's decision to suspend Berne's training. Berne's separation from the Institute spurred his development of the theory of Transactional Analysis.
