Attorneys for the defense and prosecution are shown here in the trial of Earle Kynette, Fred Browne and Roy Allen. Allen can be seen standing at left. Members of the Los Angeles Police Department are visible in the courtroom. Sitting at the tables from left to right are Harry Bowman; George Rochester, chief defense counsel; Richard Cantillon, Allen's attorney; John Oliver, Browne's attorney; Ted Allin; Lloyd Yarrow; Joseph L. Fainer, special prosecutor, and Eugene Williams, deputy D.A. The calendar on the wall dates this photo at April 12, 1938.
