Architect's drawing is the first of the new safety school designs to be approved by the state architect's office as conforming to the specifications of the Field bill providing for earthquake-proof construction. The designs, of one-story, stress the safety and functional features, rather than the decorative. They were not drawn for any particular school, but will be submitted for selection of the Los Angeles Board of Education. Photo dated: March 7, 1934.
