Photograph of an exterior view of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles with a parking lot in the foreground, ca.1920-1929. The large hotel can be seen in the background and is divided into two wings. The building is five stories high and has rows of rectangular windows. Two chimneys and a tower protrude from the terracotta tile roof. A large grassy area can be seen in the foreground, and rows of automobiles are parked along the edge at right. Trees and bushes surround a covered walkway at left. An American flag flies from a pole on top of the hotel.
