Photograph was edited for publication purposes The Trinity Lutheran Church was located at 18425 Kittridge Street in Reseda. Due to declining membership, the church property was put up for sale and in 2011, the Los Angeles Planning Commission voted unanimously to tear down the church and make way for a housing development. The church has since been demolished. Photograph caption dated January 25, 1964 reads, "Families for Christ will theme a districtwide mission for Southern California Lutheran Churches - Missouri Synod. Making preparations at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reseda are, from left, the Rev. Henry E. Elfman, pastor; Raymond Kuhlow, mission chairman, and George Schlichting, prayer chairman. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Feb. 2-6 with a guest missioner."
