Photograph caption dated October 18, 1955 reads "William B. Magid, left, neighborhood Boy Scout commissioner, directs Jack Gladstone, right, of Troop 19, Victory Boulevard PTA, in first aid demonstration on Dick Korn, of Troop 84, Emanuel Lutheran Church. Boys performed before 450 Scouts of North Hollywood and Sun Valley districts at third annual field and advancement day at Victory-Vanowen Park in North Hollywood. Top honors went to Troop 45, sponsored by Vinedale PTA, Sun Valley, and Troop 128, sponsored by Valley Plaza Optimist Club, North Hollywood."
