Union Hill Mine located 1 mile East of Douglas City, Ca. Used water from Grass Valley Creek via the 15 mile ditch. Mine camp seen in the background. Ditch tunnel outlet is the light spot above the building on the right. Pennstock and pipeline to mine is visible to left. 570 foot tunnel ran thru the ridge from the Trinity River side west of the siphon and steel bridge. DCB
