Photograph caption dated December 2, 1957 reads "Nurse Teresa Woods treats Earl Chumley, 39, of Panorama City, for second degree burns he suffered in gas explosion at his home which police said resulted from suicide attempt. He was treated at Valley Receiving Hospital for second degree burns."
