Description
From the Sacramento Bee caption printed on November 14, 1967: "Evidence of downstream pollution at Lake Tahoe is all too obvious above in the scene of Trout Creek near a subdivision at the south end of the lake. An official of the Department of Fish and Game said the subdivision had properly protected its drainage against erosion but a concentrated runoff had this effect on the unprotected creek downstream. . . . "
