Drucker interviews Peter James Flamming in his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series, “Managing and Developing Yourself.” Drucker begins by discussing how Reverend Flamming was able to effectively turn around two churches in Texas and Virginia. He talks about how he went on sabbatical to the American Management Association to improve his leadership skills. He describes his time as a pastor, and was repeatedly advised to stay out of business administration affairs. Reverend Flamming talks about the importance of a well-trained staff and knowledgeable volunteers. He discusses the importance of relying on older, more experienced professionals. He ends the interview by discussing the advantages of living in the technological age and globalization.
