Photograph of an interior view of the Mission Francis de Asis (Dolores) showing the altar, San Francisco, December 17, 1904. Five statues are arranged along the altar wall in two rows, one on top of the other. The top row shows three, two men to the left and one woman at right, while the bottom row shows what appear to be two praying women. Icons are affixed between the statues at top. Below, two vases of flower and a bible are arranged on the altar stone with the altar rail separating it from the pews in the foreground. The surrounding walls and ceiling are decorated with filigree. Lamps hang from the ceiling.
