Description
Photograph of an encampment of men in the Right of Way War, ca.1910. At center a dilapidated rectangular one-story building is visible. Wood appears to be peeling away from the sides while it sits elevated on wood palates. To the left of the building a small white tent is visible. A man wearing a dark jacket and hat stands at left, while three men wearing overalls and caps are visible at right. A fence composed of wooden poles and metal lines runs from left to right in front of the structures. A dusty piece of what appears to be farm machinery is visible between the structures and fence. The ground is composed of dirt and trees are visible in the background. Photoprint reads: "Right of Way War bet Laton and Western R.R. and S.P.Ry. At King's River crossing".
