The North Western Diocese, Tanzania, 1984. Students preparing for a picnic at Ntoma Home Craft School. The food consists of a number of dishes, cooked and wrapped in banana leaves. The leaves are passed through the fire for cleaning ahead of use. The green leaf has been placed on top of pieces of the split stem.
