Description
This is a photograph of Fr. McCormick with a group of people baptized at Christmas in Samhopa [now Sanheba].
Rev. McCormick was born in Scranton, PA. He entered The Venard, Maryknoll's Apostolic College, in 1921, and was ordained in 1931. He was assigned to Kaying that year and returned to the U.S. in 1940. Returning to Kaying in 1945, he was expelled from China in 1951. He spend the rest of his mission career in Taiwan.
