Photograph caption dated April 15, 1965 reads "Los Angeles Angels' centerfielder Jose Cardenal is shown crossing home plate last night at Chavez Ravine after clouting his first major league home run. It came off the New York Yankees' Whitey Ford in the first inning (Jose was first up). Cardenal went on to collect four hits last night off Yankee pitching and the Angels won, 4-3."
