Description: Mayor Sam Yorty (left) attends the name dedication of the Sherman Oaks Branch Library, located at 14245 Moorpark. In 1972 Sherman Oaks Branch Library was named after Martin Pollard, who was an early president of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce. Two women and one man (all unidentified) are seen standing behind the floral centerpiece, next to Pat Galati, who is on the right.
