Most appear to be boys in their teenage years and the minister, Mr Sutherland, sits in the middle of the group. This would appear to be the Scottish Universities' Mission Training Institution (SUMTI) which was opened in 1886 as a training school for teachers. ❧ This image belongs to an album of photographs collected by Dr. Stevenson and includes images from India, China and Africa.
