Description: Oscar A. Smith (PE president), Orville Caldwell and actress Mary Murphy launch the new Pacific Electric bus fleet to replace streetcars throughout the city. This particular bus ran on the route previously occupied by the streetcars of Venice Short Line. See images 00066994 and 00066996 for information on the last runs of Venice Short Line streetcars.
