This is the fifteenth track of an interview series with Peter Drucker and Fred Harmon on innovation and entrepreneurship. Drucker and Harmon have a conversation with John A. McNeice Jr and C. Herbert Emilson of Colonial Management Associates Inc. of Boston. McNeice and Emilson discuss how they carved out an entrepreneurial niche by focusing on the more conservative, risk-adverse end of the investment market. They go on to discuss changes in the industry from being equity-based to income based, working with broker dealers, holding a leadership conference with other investment firms, and maintaining a balance between dividing responsibilities and not relying too much on structure.
