Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated July 14, 1964 reads, "A solution to the hot weather, at least if you're two feet tall, is to follow the lead of 18-month-old Melinda Miller of Sylmar and fill a large pan with water and climb in. There was even room enough for 'Little Bit,' who seems to agree that it's cheaper than a swimming pool."
