A small group of protesters, some dressed as birds, marched in front of the L.A. Zoo in effort to persuade people from entering to protest the zoo's stand on keeping condors in captivity. The zoo is reported to have 12, and the San Diego Zoo with 12 in captivity. Nearly all kept on going past the protesters. Photograph dated November 30, 1986.
