"One of two of the original microwave reflectors is lowered away from the top of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. building at 14th and J Streets. The new reflectors have been mounted and can be seen at the upper right. A company spokesman said the exchange was made because modern technology has improved the reflectors to give a better signal for cross-country microwave transmission ..."
