Description
Ruins of a Pachomian monastery in the ancient village of Pbow (or Pabau), now the modern town Fāw Qiblī. Known particularly for its architecture, the monastery's ruins have been only partially covered by sediment over time. Townspeople of Fāw Qiblī work in the fields behind the site, and animals have gathered around the ruins.
