Description: Photograph caption dated September 5, 1985 reads, "Pilot Gary Roundy, second from left, talks to sheriff's deputies and FAA official after crash-landing in unincorporated area of Compton. Carson brought his single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza down near intersection of Wilmington Avenue and University Drive, maneuvering to avoid several construction workers. Aircraft was damaged but he was unhurt."
