Photograph of two priests and a monk (or a nun?) chatting in the courtyard of the Plaza Church (near the chapel?), Los Angeles, 1885. The two priests, dressed in priest robes, stand under the shade provided by the arcade. Beyond the balustrade arcade is a courtyard decorated with a garden of small bushes and flower plants. A large cross stands at the center of the courtyard. In the background is the church(?). The back of the photoprint lists "Father McCarthy, Father Murphy and Mrs. Guerrero".
