Corner view of a street; on corner is a two story brick building; entrance is on the corner; on left side on 1st floor is a barbershop advertising "Hair Cut 25 cents"; 2nd floor has 3 rectangular windows on right side of corner and 6 visible windows on left side of corner; balcony runs around 2nd floor with decorative metal railing; on extreme left, 2nd floor sits a man on the balcony; on right next door is a glass-fronted business with "Farms" on top left of the business; from 2nd floor is perpendicular sign "Brooke Realty"; further buildings on the right.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
