Description
This 1946 photograph captures a woman before the backdrop of the California State Capitol building and the signature fountain located between State Office Building No. 1 and the Library and Courts Building. The Extension grounds were given a creative boost in the mid-1920s, when the State Legislature appropriated $42,000 for their beautification.
