Description
Photograph shows an apartment house on 430 North Second Street in San Jose. The architecture in the Queen Anne style. The numbers on the right post of the awning read 430. A sign on the railing reads "Furnished apartments. A sign above what appear to be mailboxes on the wall by the door reads "Hensley." The building still stands at this address and is listed in the City of San Jose's Historic Resources Inventory (APN 249-44-040). The listing indicates that the house, built circa 1891, is in the Queen Anne style. It is located in a National Register District and a City Landmark District. Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit Grayscale. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
