U.S. Ambassador to El Salvador, Deane R. Hinton, rises from the couch to shake the hand of an unidentified woman who is standing beside Roberto D'Aubuisson at Camino Real Hotel in San Salvador. In 1993, a report published by the United Nations Commission on the Truth for El Salvador established that it was Roberto D'Aubuisson Arrieta who gave the order to assassinate Archbishop Óscar Arnulfo Romero in 1980.
