Photograph caption dated November 7, 1962 reads "Members of Verdugo Hills Exchange Club (standing) are vying to see who can sell Burbank Mayor Charlie Compton his ticket to the Bert Shaw Cancer Fund benefit show at 8 p.m. Thursday. They are Paul Sylvester, show chairman; Victor Lu Pau, club president, and Ben Yost, program director. The show, Ben Yost's Varieties of 1962, will be in John Burroughs High School auditorium, 1920 Clark Ave., Burbank."
