Description
Two women in Paris riding dress fashions from 1832. The woman on the left wears a riding dress. Her bodice is white with a ruffle-edged high collar and she wears a red neck scarf. Her blouse has long, voluminous Juliet sleeves. She wears yellow gloves and black shoes. Her skirt is brown and has a wide brown belt with a gold buckle. With her left hand she holds up the skirt of her dress and in her right hand she carries a riding crop. Her hair is braided and she wears a pale yellow top hat with a yellow ribbon tied under her chin and a white veil attached to the hat. The woman in the right is wearing the same attire only in different colors, showing the back view. Her neck scarf is purple and her skirt is green. She also has a pale yellow top hat and carries a riding crop. She rides a white horse. Both women are on a hill covered in grass or dirt and there are white clouds in the distance.
