Photograph of Penzoil Company's James V. Leonett examining the train orders of locomotive engineer S.C. Mason of Southern Pacific Railroad, ca.1920. Warehouse superintendent Leonett is shown at right, facing Mason. Mason, at left, has his foot on the front grille of the locomotive, and is gesturing over his shoulder with his thumb. Photoprint reads: "verifying fact that train came through directly from Pennsylvania to west coast with express dispatch".
