Photograph of a view of North Spring Street looking south from Sunset Boulevard, showing several adobes in Sonora Town, ca.1915. An uneven dirt path full of pebbles runs along the left side of the photograph, with adobe houses standing along to the right. The adobe to the far right shows one of its window boarded-up and a missing shutter on the remaining window. The subsequent adobe to the left appears to have two doors, but is missing the left half of its roof. Farther into the background, a third adobe is visible, along with a craftsman-style clapboarded house behind it. A hill leads up to a partially visible two-story mansion-style house from the adobes below. Post-and-rail and picket fences separated them both above and below.
