Description
View of dairy with numerous cows, two autos, multiple milk cans on the bed of a wagon, people sitting on the seat, two horse rig. Another wagon, with slatted sides and two people seated on the seat. Near the first wagon is a man standing with a rifle in his hands, a dog in front of him on the left and a goat on the right. A plow and a team with a driver can be seen on the left. The houses and other buildings are spread throughout the photo. "Possibly Old American Dairy on Curtner" written on back. American Dairy was located at the corner of Santa Clara Street and 17th Street (San Jose/Santa Clara). Based on the location of hills in background and Eastside barren foothills, the photo appears to be more likely the Santa Clara/17th location than Curtner.
