Description
"Friends of the Sacramento City and County Museum turned out during the weekend in Old Sacramento to place a sign at the embarcadero and I Streets, marking the site where the Sacramento History Center will be built. The Friends took care to check the level of the sign so that it will stand properly, but apparently failed to notice the signpainter's missing T in the word 'system.' The city hall and water works building built on that location in 1854 will be rebuilt to house the museum"
