Image of goddess Columbia as an angel wrapped in an American flag holding a sword and carrying an Irish flag flying above workers and United States soldiers on foot and on horseback; ships in harbor in distance; portraits of two men, including Irish revolutionary Robert Emmet, in the sky near Columbia.
"Entered according to Act of Congress, in the Year 1865, by J. H. Bufford in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the District of Mass."--text, bottom center margin. "Dedicated to the Fenian Brotherhood"--text, bottom center margin. "Issued from Bufford's Print Publishing House 313 Washn. St. Boston, 648 Broadway N. Y. [?] College Hall [?]"--text, bottom center margin.
