Shaw discusses the elements of the value proposition of a service organization, including the customer component, interactive component, process component, and the supplier/vender. He goes on to discuss the three steps of strategic planning: assessment of the problem, determining a solution, and performing the action itself. Near the end of the recording Shaw divides the class into teams of seven.
