Description
An 1859 invoice for the Masonic Union Lodge for creation of a Roll book by F. Foster, book binder, paper ruler, and blank book manufacturer. F. Foster Book Binder, Paper Ruler, and Blank Book Manufacturer was the first and oldest book bindery in California. The first book bound was the official copy of the statutes for the tenth session of the Legislature of California in 1859.
