Description
This circa 1968 view of K Street looks west from Seventh Street. It includes glimpses of many well-known Sacramento businesses. Weinstocks, Kress and the Crest Theatre are represented. The recessed entrance to Burt's Shoes would later become home to Tower Records' distinctive mural. Daniels Jewelers provided a traditional street clock, which passers-by could use to set their watches.
