Description
Tom LaBonge, wearing a tan suit and City of L.A. tie; and Kent McCord, wearing a dark suit and red ribbon pinned to his lapel, pose together at the rededication of City Hall. LaBonge is City Councilman for the 4th District. Informally known as "Mr. Los Angeles", he was first elected in October 2001 and was overwhelmingly re-elected March 2003 to serve his first four-year term, which runs to 2007. Kent McCord (born Kent Franklin McWhirter on September 26, 1942) is an actor best known for his lead role as rookie LAPD officer James A. "Jim" Reed on "Adam-12"; a popular police drama television series that ran on NBC from 1968-1975. Photo dated: April 29, 2002.
