Image of an advertisement for a Poster Tableaux put on by the Plastic Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; woman wearing a low-cut gown and mask kicks up her heels with a harlequin clown; posters on display in background.
Item originally owned by illustrator Curtis Wager-Smith (1870-1950). Date supplied by cataloger based on organization history and day/date; the Plastic Club was founded in 1897, and March 19th fell on a Saturday in 1898. "E Plaisted."--text, artist's signature on stone, top left of image. "Plastic Club Tickets 1.00 For Sale. At 1119 Chestnut St. And At The Academy."--text, bottom left of image.
